QBi is a SaaS, a cloud-based software. This means that users do not need to download any program to install it on their computers. They will only need an internet connection and they can then access QBi’s Platform. QBi supports any Chromium-based browser. Typically, Chrome.

Normally, the onboarding process consists of 4 phases. In the first phase, contacts, security roles, and platform users are incorporated. In the second phase, the main trackers (and their configurations) such as company projects and portfolio, etc. are incorporated.

During the third phase, project workflows and task templates are implemented. Finally, in the last phase, dynamic BI and static reports that the client requires based on their business profile are developed and implemented. This onboarding process typically takes between 6 to 8 weeks.

The platform undergoes updates once a month, typically during the last week of each month. All our users receive these updates. However, specific changes for a customer (typically an integration) may be implemented as a hotfix before the scheduled update date as an exception.

The standard subscription duration is one year.

You certainly can! Integrating QBi with your document management platform is actually how QBi is designed to function. We will establish a link between your DMS and QBi. Your files will stay within your DMS, while QBi maintains a link to each file and associates it with specific documents, projects, tasks, companies, etc.

QBi does not receive real-time updates from your SCADA system. Instead, we receive daily updates, matching the granularity provided by your SCADA. This ensures you receive all the data with a maximum delay of 24 hours.

Currently QBi does not offer a mobile app.

We do not use or manipulate our customers' data, as the customer retains full ownership of their data. QBi employs a single-tenant technology, ensuring that each user has a dedicated environment where their data is completely isolated. While we don't have much experience with customer departures, it is important to emphasize that our customers are always the sole owners of their data.

QBi Solutions ensures the safety of your information through multiple layers of security measures:

Cloud Security: QBI operates on Microsoft Azure, adhering to the best practices recommended by Microsoft for information security and integrity.

Single Tenant Architecture: QBI is a single-tenant application, meaning each client's environment has completely isolated resources, with no sharing or mixing of information between environments.

Encryption: All information is encrypted both at-rest and in-transit.

Audit Trail: Every data field change in QBI is tracked, recording which user made the change, when it was made, the previous value, and the new value, allowing for comprehensive historical reconstruction of data changes.

Automated Backups: Incremental backups of databases are performed automatically, enabling point-in-time recovery for up to a week before if needed.

IP Whitelisting: IP whitelisting can be configured to restrict platform access to specific locations, such as client office IPs or VPNs.

Cybersecurity Focus: Cybersecurity is a major focus for QBI, and we are on track to achieve ISO 27001 certification in September of this year.

Continuous Improvement: We are committed to continually enhancing our security measures to protect our clients' information and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.

The flexibility and granularity of the user configuration module allow for the configuration of external users who can be granted access only to the data and fields specified by the client. The user module supports highly detailed configuration, enabling precise control over permissions and access levels for each user.
